Simple Nurbs Question
show user profile  FX
I was wondering if there's anyone here with nurbs experience?
It's not a method I'm familiar with at all.
I'm trying to make a simple shape but need the quads to be evenly distributed, i always get pinching.
Here's a quick one I did using 3 blends and a join, almost there but not quite,
I guess it's the underlying curve structure that controls the output.
There's no great info on nurbs in Max.
Any info would be useful, or a better method to approach to problem ?

tia

Is there a reason you need to use nurbs?

No, not really, I was just playing around with the powernurbs demo, that's the result you see.
I'm really looking for a method the create flowing organic shapes with evenly distributed quads, I'm used to hard surface techniques.

I found this cool script on scriptspot, http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/polynurbs-1-0-released
and grabbed the powernurbs demo. :)
