How does one add sides to a circle evenly spaced?
show user profile  Spear Chuck
Rather than boolean subtract bent, extruded text from a tube, I want to combine bent text into a circle that is converted to an editable spline then 'outline' it so there's a smaller circle within a larger circle with the text arched inside the perimeter

Like the Starbucks logo

How do I add sides evenly to a circle?

er wut?

If i get you right you want to have 2 circle, one smaller inside of the other and then fit text inbetween the two so that it follows the shape of the circle?

Well I wouldn't do this in max, i'd recreate the logo as vector art in illustrator and them import that into max to use as splines.

(\/) (°,,,°) (\/) Woop woop woop!

also try making three circles each with a different radius. make some text, pathdeform the text to the innermost circle and then apply shell. Please try to word your questions better next time.
