Could someone show me how to UV unwrap. Pic included.

Ive never unwrapped a mesh in Max before, and I was wondering if someone could show me how. What's the best way to unwrap this with the least amount of distortion.

I've only unwrapped a mesh in blender so I know the basics and what you need to aim for. Max though seems to have a more complex and exact method for uv unwrapping. I just have no idea how to use it >.<

I doubt anyone here is going to show you how to do this (unless you either pay them or they have too much time on their hands, we are usually a busy bunch).

Best advice, look it up on google. There are plenty of tutorials out there. I know it took me a while to get my head around unwrapping objects, and the process varys with each project..

This being said, Maxforums isn't full of a bunch of heartless people who don't care (we are actually a very good resource for crits of work and specific help).

This tutorial was created by the very talented Mr.Grotey. I would highly recommend that you go over it and look at his unwrapping methods.. Also, like I said, look on google.

There are few ways to skin a cat, but hundreds if it is made in 3ds max.
