sexy 32" computer monitor
show user profile  zeefusion
I am looking for a 32" high gloss black nice looking PC monitor. Any suggestions? Its more about the look of the base and the glossiness of the materials used, than anything else.

At the moment the leading LCD for me is thishttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LE32R74BDX-Widescreen-Ready-Freeview/dp/tech-data/B000F4TC3C/ref=de_a_smtd/277-0302334-8853472

Cheers

Yo.....did you notice the resolution? Its not even 1080!

That would look horrible a a PC monitor....my god,...that low a resolution stretched accross a 32" monitor! yikes.

Its much more a TV, than a monitor. And I still cant get over the low resolution! I wouldnt own that for a TV or monitor....

For that price you might as well be buying a 30" Dell or Apple monitor.

People who use TVs as monitors are idiots. (firm stance on this)

its for an installation of a display unit for a client. A different option to using a non commercial LCD display which 99% of the time you have to build you own casing / stand anyway.

listen to jim, and get a mac or dell 30" for that price, they use IPS screens, best color and darkest blacks, and they average 5-8ms black to white response times now. If he has that much to spend, get one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824110003

or a dell equivalent if he wants black.

I just picked up a shiny black/red 24" samsung monitor with HDTV tuner. T240HD. 1920x1200 resolution with 1080i tv resolution. Has built-in speakers and a remote, too :) I use it as a TV whenever the comp is off. I was surprised to see how well it works. Receives digital HD channels over an ordinary portable antenna... Recommended!
