Select objects by modifier?

I have a scene with many objects, modelled various ways. When I select all and 'convert to poly', any world space modifiers remain. The WSM in question is the subdivide. I would like a quick way to select objects with this modifier without having to click on each object to check the stack. Thanks

Check out the soulburn scripts, it comes with a select by modifier utility.

You could also type in
select (for x in objects where x.modifiers[#subdivide] != undefined collect x)
