Select all verts skinned to a bone?

How do I select all verts that are skinned to the currently selected bone? I want to do a mirror paste of verts without having to click each vert I want one by one.

Well the first thing you do is put all your skinning questions into one thread, rather than 50.

The next thing you do is search youtube before asking your question, there's tonnes of videos that answer every single question you have asked so far.

Try googling this,

Google: select all vertex assigned to bone 3ds

Every single variant of the above search query returns no one who tells you how to select verts that are assigned to a single bone.

Youtube videos show the guy picking each vertex manually, one by one or using the grow and shrink feature.

It would be optimal to select a bone then hit some kind of button that selects only the verts assigned to a single bone, then I could mirror copy paste to the other side.

I don't know of a way to select verts based on bone selection. I suppose one of the issues is you can (and usually, should) have multiple bones affecting a single vert.

However, if it's mirroring the weight information you're after, then all you have to do is be in "Edit Envelope" mode, then expand the "Mirror Parameters" tab, enter "Mirror Mode", and then I'm guessing you'll either want "Paste Green to Blue Verts" or "Paste Blue to Green Verts".

It's not selection based, it will mirror one side's weighting to the other.
