Seemingly manage to lose the ability to 'undo' once in a while?

Yea, as title suggests... my Ctrl+Z weapon of choice is just greyed out. I've checked my maximum number of saved undo operations and it appears to be fine. Any ideas?

Same here. Seems to be almost useless sometimes.

Not sure about the 'greyed out' part but the undo has been buggy for a loooong time.
Sometimes it would just stop working until you restart max.

Ive noticed you will lose undo most of the time after running a script or... binding something in the xref lol... (xref thing has been fixed in the latest hotfix), or anything which is not hierarchical behaviour (such as rummaging through your modifier stacks). Best, program, ever!

I've managed to recreate it and it indeed happens whilst dragging and dropping (sorry!) Garps loop regulariser script into my viewport, happens 100% if I'm in a sub-object mode, and less frequently if I have nothing selected. Using 2011 64b

Oh, I've broken max!

As a side note, you do know you only have to drop it once, right?

@Garp - Each time I start max a fresh, the regularise option on the right-click context menu isn't there? I think I tried ages ago to add it to start-up but it didn't seem to work.

I don't trust much the drag-and-drop procedure in max.
Check that the script has indeed been saved to your usermacros folder (look at the path in Customize > Configure System Paths > Additional Macros).

edit: also if I remember well, I tested the drag-and-drop in max 9 but installed it manually later when I got max 2012.
