See through in viewport

What was that short cut key to instantly make your object in the viewport see through, transparency look? What was it called?

It's called "See-Through", and can be accessed in the object properties dialog window. Hotkey is Alt-X

Although, it's crap. I much prefer to stick a transparently animated material on things I wish to see through, then using the < and > keys to cycle between solid and opaque.

turning off backface cull helps allot with this- it's in the right click> properties menu
