rotate Gizmo on itself
show user profile  tom_curitiba
Hi guys,

that one is an easy one:
how to rotate the rotation gizmo on itself to be able to rotate on another axis,
I was always doing: rotate around x 45° then rotate around y 45°.
(see the picture linked underneath)

but after a while I instead tried to rotate the gizmo, using the "adjust pivot" in the hierarchy but didnt work,
I also went to the "reference coordinate system" and choose "pick" to select the object instead of the view but didnt work..
in google when I search for "rotate gizmo", I get other kind of posts..

any help ? :=)

thanks

Rotating the gizmo using "Adjust pivot" does work, you just can't see it until you go into local rotation mode. It's the middle white box in the top menu, it's normally set to view, change it ot local.
