how to rig an overhead duo-rail railcar ?

dear maxforumers-

i have to animate a duo-rail railcar, but it's very tricky to link everything together on these two splines.


have a look:









first i tried around with a spline-ik-solver on each spline wich are wired together, but this cannot work
because of the different lenghts of the splines.
the carposition itself will be influenced by four points,
but none of these points are in an absolute position to the car's pivot,
so a simple ik-chain is helpful only partially.

then i tried a position constraint, but it won't work either, because of a lacking fixpoint.

(there is left a middle spline between these two from the creation process, but i don't know if it could be helpful)

so how do i set up a rig for this thing, wich allows the car drive around the corners properly???

[edit] does anybody have some experience with the reactor car wheel constraint ? (not the toy car ) it seems to be able to handle such tasks...
