The revolution will not be televised
show user profile  BLoSk
Funny, ppl have been protesting since the 17th on wall street and in my country the equivalent of wall street (beursplein), (and i'm not sure but I think some other countries are doing the same) yet not a single mention about it in the mainstream media.
Not claiming this equals real revolution, just thought the title fitted, and if they're not televising this alrdy i'm sure they would do the same if real revolution broke out.
But I'm sure they just missed it all by accident and they're not doing it to serve other ppls agendas. ;-)
Move along, nothing to see here, everything is OK!

And France too apparently.

@ Nik:
Yea hooray for the internet. http://www.itworld.com/security/205513/yahoo-blocks-emails-about-wall-street-protest

@ Mr_Stabby:
Think its better to ask what they're NOT angry about lol.
Honestly I'm not 100% sure but it seems like it's mainly focused on the fucked up monetary system and the evil cunts that are abusing it as the location of the protest suggests, but the way I see it it goes way deeper then just being pissed off at banks and the stock market, people are waking up and start to understand govts don't seem to be there for the people at all.
Besides that ppl start to understand that even if their govt would want to do the best they could for their minions it's not going to work out anyway as they seem to be controlled more by corporations and lobbyists and whatnot then actual politicians.

God I hope not, I'd hate to miss new and rerun episodes of Jersey Shore.

anyhow, the interwebs are the new tv & you've posted here, so it's on maxforums tv.

wake me up if it gets interesting.

us gov are taking legal action against sale of fraudulent derivatives.

nothing wrong with legal trading - it's called business.

@ AS:
Oh didn't know RT discussed it. Well in my country they're not covering it at all.

Yes because internet and tv are pretty much the same eh.
I know they would love to see the same control on the internet as on tv but it's not there yet.
Too bad there are plenty of ppl (like my parents) that barely use the internet let alone use it to broaden their news horizon, so news like that will never reach them.

nothing wrong with legal trading - it's called business.
I'm sure slaves back in the day would have thought the same eh.
It was legal to trade slaves so why not? Lol.
And fuck Rosa Parks, she should never have disregarded the rules that stated she had to sit in the back of the bus, obviously if it's legal you should accept it eh.
Come on AS, just because something is declared legal by those criminals doesn't mean you just have to swallow it.
