show user profile  devildog
When I'm making a video it seems to be working correctly but when it finishes somthing
happens. The file size is only .99 mb and it has'nt made the full video. What is happening.
It worked befor and no somthing is off. Could I have changed a setting and no noticed.

Thanks.

What file type are you rendering to?
I assume you are also rendering a range of frames and not simply a still? (as set in the render output dialog)

I have it save as an avi. what i did was, the scene is 1500 frames and each frame takes 3 to 4
min so as it renders I watch it to see if it is correct. The file size will go up 1mb 2mb 3mb so on and so on. but when it has finished the file size is .99mb and only renders half of the video.

Are you sure you have the entire range set under "time output" in render setup dialog?

best not to render to avi for this very reason. render as an image sequence and combine them into an avi with a separate program

He who says it cannot be done is interrupting the man doing it.
