Was just wondering what you guys generally save your renders off as from Max. I've been saving mine off as TGA's but I'm starting to wonder if this is the best option when doing post-production?
Cheers in advance.

I usually save .png, but exr seems to be the cool way nowadays since it saves rendering elements in different layers under the same file.

I've used PNGs for a while though recently I learned that TGA has much better premult options for alpha (that is, it actually HAS options) so I use that these days.
EXR is of course better but I don't have any use for it at the moment. If you're using a better comper than AE (Combustion or Nuke) you'll probably benefit from it, I imagine.
