How to render Nitrous Styles in 2012?
show user profile  lonewolfx
ok so i think some of the stylized viewport display options of Nitrous in Max 2012 are pretty cool. right now i'm quite enjoying the look of Acrylic.

i'm just wondering... is it possible to actually render these out this way?

i'm experimenting with getting a Toon look going but can't get anywhere near as good result using the Ink N Paint materials. but i just switch the viewport to one of the Nitrous styles and Bam, looks great.

so is it possible to render out these Nitrous style options? if so... how?

EDIT: i figured it out. if anyone is curious, you have to use the Quicksilver renderer.

He who says it cannot be done is interrupting the man doing it.

What are those styles for anyways? Seems sort of pointless if one were to use them. Major loss of control (since after all, it's just a fancy filter).

edit: I like the drawing one, cause I save the image of the viewport and tell people that I actually drew it.. bahahaha. suckers.

@Lonewolfx- pretty sure using the styles is the wrong way to go about it.. Putting a paper bag over her head because she is ugly doesn't solve the problem even though it may help.

"Putting a paper bag over her head because she is ugly doesn't solve the problem even though it may help. "

from my experience it really does help.
