Reflections using Quicksilver
show user profile  magarlick
Dear all

I cannot make reflections work in Quicksilver no matter what I try. I am aware that there are limitations with materials and shaders, but nothing seems to work. I created a simple scene with two spheres and a light shining on them. One casts a shadow on the other and is reflected in it. In the rendering settings I have chosen Quicksilver as the renderer, and I have added the two objects to the 'include' button in the reflections rollout.

I have tried various materials for the reflector: flat mirror, reflect/refract and raytrace. Zilch. No reflections at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Have you tried mental ray A+D material?

Thanks for replies.

Seen the help file already and have followed instructions, as outlined earlier. Mental Ray A+D same, no reflections.
