Hello all,

For hard surface modelling, do you use schematic blueprint reference images or just 'eyeball' it?

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find good quality images with high resolution for free, need to pay for the vector images, is it worth it?

cheers

If your talking about blueprints.com, do an image search, eg:

http://www.the-blueprints.com/vectordrawings/show/12436/link-belt_250x3/

Result:

First Link:

PDF (Vector)
http://www.lbxco.com/Specs/210-X2.pdf

That's all whoever runs that site is doing, then charging you for the privilege.

edit: lol, this guys asking 15 euro a pop...what a tool.

it is harder if not impossible to get vectors for say a Ferrari or something though, not sure where these people are finding them.

I always assumed guys were making them themselves and selling them on blueprints.com
