hi,

i am creating comm vehical. using front & side ref images. somehow one image display large and one proper. in photoshop i am maintaining proper Height, width and resolution ratio. still it can't properly display in max. is there any settings in max?

What vkotek pointed will give you a better quality of the image in viewports, but I don't think he needs that, he needs width vs height ratio. You'll have to check the width and height of the image and make a plane of that same ratio in viewport to get it right
