Hey Reeves - Wacom question
show user profile  Dr. Jim
Reeves...or anyone that uses a Wacom for MAX.

Ive used an Intous 4 for a few years now...love it for everything but MAX....just always had issues.....now after checking Reeves link from the previous Mouse thread....and installing the latest 3.6.3 drivers and configuring properly its awesome in MAX....EXCEPT:

For dolly! Ive got pan and click and such defined properly.....and I am sure im being stupid....but the old mouse middle button/scroll for dolly/zoom was awesome......how to set this on the pen?

Whats your setup?

Thx! (Dr.too-lazy-to-google-Jim)

when using 2010 I had some weird plugin that switched it to maya mode (which is what I use softimage in too)

I think in newer versions you can just pick to do that anyway? But yes you're right the default max was is not very handy for the pen I forget to mention this earlier heh

Hey to all the Wacom experts here I need advise...
Even though I'm a working industrial designer my drawings have never been any good.
There's not much to do about it, I just don't have a good hand in drawing, and whenever I need to show sketches to costumer I prefer to model and render something.
So last year I bought myself a Wacom intious4 with the hopes that it will help me.
But I quickly realized that the "bad hand" went from page to the Wacom and it didn't really help me at all.
Do you guys have any tips for absolute Wacom beginners? Any tutorials, websites or personal info that can help me utilize my Wacom in a better way?

Any help will be great...
Sorry, not intending on hijacking the thread.

Joel

If you cant draw a straight line on paper....a Wacom wont help with that....

Otherwise Im not sure what you mean?
