Rebuilding a mesh in perfect tris or quads?

Does anyone know if this exists? Software that will analyze a mesh and rebuild it with as uniform as possible triangles, or squares? Its ok if edges/boundaries are not perfect, but an algorithm that does its best to uniformly represent a source mesh?

Zremesher is the closest solution. But it spirals.
