Reactor question
show user profile  LOL500
Gosh, how should I put this......

I have a rope attached to a box, the rope will have physics, I want to see the physics of the rope work in real time as I move the box around freely at different paths in the viewport with my mouse, nothing is keyframed in the process.

Sorry, don't know the answer. The main reason there's a lack of response is because Max have dumped reactor in favour of PhysX.

I'm pretty sure I saw a tutorial on youtube or Max's learning path vids for this exact thing. Do some googling.

You should use massfx. BUT, if you have to use reactor you'll need to look at volumeII here:

Okay, sorry but I haven't been using Max for a while and the last time I look into physics, the tutorials all use reactor.

Now that I know the correct term, I'll try googling again.
