A random scene: Monitor(s)
show user profile  Stianbl
Hey guys,

First, I have to say that the idea for this ecene is not mine. I saw someone working on a scene like this on another forum I'm a member of (non max-related), and I just wanted to give myself a small challenge, and see if I could make it. So, the idea of the settup is not mine, I just made a new scene from a pic I saw of his. Anyways, was fun doing it :)

Took about 3-4 hours of modelling/texturing, and heres the result:

I don't like how this machine is staring at me. Makes me feel uncomfortable.
Nice work though. Sweet textures :)

what is an ecene?

the image is nicely done but the concept is terrible. i asume this is a computer? nowadays computers can be really small i am appalled at the thought of having a computer in the size of a cow.

cheers
nemo out

The lighting setup is nice, but I recognise it from the tutorial and most of the stuff you post on here. Maybe it's time to take what you've learned from it and get a little bit more creative?

@ Garp: Hehe, I dont really know why there are these security cams. Maybe to protect the "computer".

@nemo: Scene.. ;) I kinda like the consept. Bare in mind this is just done in about 3-4 hours including texturing. And a comp the size of a cow might be a bit overkill, but its supposed to be a bit overkill ^^

@BishBashRoss2: Hehe, trye. I dont know why I dont experiment eith the lightening more. I mean, I do change multiplyer and color from scene to scene, but thats about it :P I will have to do some lightning testrenders :) If someone got a link to some information that would be great :)

@Phalse: The windows was just random ;) Might do the penguin next time :)

Anyways, thanks for your comments:)

Actually, I kinda like the oversized cooler. Imagine the uber-hyped cpu in it! (quadruple octacore: 32X40GHz)
I suppose RAM and hard drives are in the next room ;)
