Quick question
show user profile  LOL500
If I copy something and set it to instances, if I edit 1 object, the other follows, right?
What if I don`t want it to follow anymore, how can I turn it off?

More questions:
How do I add segments after I had converted them to editable poly?

"Make unique" on the right-click in the modifier panel.

Bizarre. I've been using Max since version 1, and I've never used that button, always the right-click.

I dont see 'make unique' in the right click menu so this is the best option for me.

I get the right-click when I click on the object in the modifier stack.

I'll use the button next time.

Another one, when you copy something, set it to copy, rather than instance.

If you copy something as Reference, the base object will be instanced but any modifier you put on the Referenced object will be unique.
