A few questions (room interior)
show user profile  Dreaver
I've seen quite some pictures from rooms which look very realistic and cool. So I'd like to know a few things how people make certain things. I'm working in 3Ds Max for about 3 months, I'd say I'm decent and I know (nearly) all basics ofcourse. So I hope someone can help me out. :]
To give an example of what I mean:
(And yes, I know this guy is most likely pretty damn much good, and now I'm not aiming for this, but I'd love to start learning to make such realistic stuf)
1) I see people making different sofa's and stuff, or take the mattress as example, I'd like to know how people make
A) The matrass itself, is it something like a smoothed rectangle? I'd love to know this
B) The cover/blanket that is over the bed, I'd love to know how people did that.
2A) I see quite some people using Vray, I eventually got it myself yesterday, can anyone tell me the basics about it?
2B) What kind of materials do these people use? I've only used Mental Ray and the normal one myself, I know quite a lot people use Vray as I said, but does Vray also have premades materials like Mental Ray? or what?
3) Are there only other kind of stuff that makes this stuff so damn realistic, like special camera's / lights?
That's it for now, I might have a few more questions later. If anyone could answer (some) question(s) or give tutorial(s) that explain this kind of stuff I'd love to hear/know
Thanks in advance
