Quadro: What display setting are you using?
I just purchased a Quadro 5000 and am wondering what display settings you guys use? Nitrous? Directx? OpenGL?

It`s a crazy mixed up world we live in.
Out of curiosity does GPU rendering use the total ram of all cards in a sli/crossfire setup or limited by the memory of a single card ( if that makes sense )?

Limited to the memory of individual cards, except for the new Final Render one, which isn't constrained by GPU memory.

Will check that out Nik thanks.. It def seems to be the way things are going, traditional/standard render engines havn`t changed much in terms of speed/optimisation, same old brute force throw as much cpu at it as possible approach whereas the upcoming GPU technologies seem to be really breaking some ground.. This is kinda evident where you get benchmarks on new cpu`s coming out, the standard 3dmax tests etc always show predictable performance increments, whereas more cutting-edge/optimised software tests seem to hike up in line with architecture improvements etc..
Sorry for the thread derail OP!
