imagine if the combined three window frames placed on the floor. are twisted at the corners with screws .. the bulk, so that the angles may vary.
say what it looks like this:
[] [] []
top view rotate side to make it look like this:
\ _ /
and now putting the center door frame (by changing its angle in the ZY-plane relative to the floor) I want to automatically change the angles of the upper corners of the side frames.

or do so briefly that the plane forming the floor did not allow to move the lower beams, while forcing a change in the angles of the upper side of figures.

is the idea of ??a? I suspect that the best option is to use bone .. but what's next?
are wise?

pozdrowionka!

Like this?

You have to set up your pivots for the left and right windows, then select one and wire parameter to the middle one: transform->pivot->z-axis to transform->position->y-axis. Then type in the expressions and connect <-->. Check, if it's rotating the wrong way put a "-" in front of rotation expression.

P.S. You might have to try other numbers besides "50" but for my setup it works perfectly (though, I admit, it's a budget way to do it). I'll have a go trying to get look-at restraints working as that will always work without any tweaking.

Look-at constraint version.

Snap a dummy to either side of the middle one. Snap the pivots of the outer windows to the outer edges. Put a look-at constraint on each side window to it's respective dummy. Done.

[edit] Forgot to add, you've got to "select and link" the dummy's to the middle window.

I know. I tried 3 times to read through it and kept giving up... but it kept mulling around in my head so I read it again and I think this is what the guy meant. But who knows?

"what's the difference between a duck ? "

One foot is both the same.

Is it quicker to New York, or by train?

I'm still worried about people with ass-ploding brains. It sounds distinctly unhygienic.
