Project circle onto surface
I guess this has probably been covered before but can anyone remind me the best way to do the following.
I have my curved object but I want to extrude/pull in a circular are on the ck like a speaker port.

Use shape-merge then go into vertex mode and clean up the additional verts it adds but doesnt need

Might need a little more help here.
I seem to have far to many points, also do I need more polys on the large surface?

Turn the interpolation on the circle down before you shape merge (or if the number of sides arent nice enough use an ngon instead), or you can use the circle/ngon as a cutting template like this...
