Procedural Maps not following bend animation

I'm using Procedural maps like Cellular and Noise as Bump Maps in VRayMtl, and I have a Bend Modifier on the mesh but the map is not sticking to the mesh as it bends. The mapping is set to Object XYZ, I thought this behavior was to be expected when using World XYZ?

How do I fix this? Do I have to use Explicit Map channel?

Doesnt object space only look at the bounding box of the object just like world looks at the world bounding box?

Yeah, you're probably right. I figured it out though, you have to use the option "XYZ to UVW" in the UVW Map modifier, and set the mapping coordinates to Explicit Map Channel for the procedural map.

Funny that I didn't know that. Apparently I have never animated the deformation of a procedural map during my 15 years as a Max user :P
