Problem in viewport

Hi all, Im using 3ds max 2015 and for some reason in my perspective view the edges of objects look like they are extruded through eachother and it looks really messy and annoying. When I zoom closer to the problem areas, it looks fine. For example with an internal scene, from a distance it looks like a pillow sitting on a sofa is sinking into the sofa, but when I zoom right in, it looks fine and is not intersecting. I remember experiencing this with an older version of 3ds max and I could fix the problem in the lighting and shodows oprions in the top left corner of my perspective view, but in 3ds max 2015, I cant fix the problem no matter what I adjust.

Any thoughts?

Turn viewport clipping on. You can adjust the sliders (assuming this is what you're talking about).

Yea, unfortunately that did not help.
Any other thoughts as to why this may be happening?

Not directly related to viewport clipping, but are your scene objects too small? If zooming in fixes it, it might be because everything is teeny tiny.
