Premiere Pro CS4 - 29.97FPS? PAL??
show user profile  aniworld
hi im trying to make my first show reel and i've rendered out some animation at PAL 25fps,
but when i import it into premiere and i view the medias properties it shows it as 29.97fps?
and no longer matches the audio file duration? also once i render the media out it has a ghosting effect on the fast motion?

i've set the premiere file to PAL and checked it in the adobe media which is also rendering at 25fps?
im using a targa sequence for my max render? the ghosting effect isn't in the avi i rendered direct from max??

can anyone please help? :)

kinda fixed ;)

(1) the fps issue:
in the project menu right click the video footage (image sequence) and select interoperate footage and change the frame rate to 25fps

(2) the ghosting issue:
on the time line right click the video footage and deselect frame blend

see examples below:

If you set your project to 25 fps there should be no issue with ghosting once your clip is set to interpret as 25 ( unless u remap the speed in the timeline ).

for some reason in CS4 all image sequences are imported at 29.97fps despite the project settings you have?
hopefully something they've fixed in CS5?

Ah i assumed it was a realtime character anim. Yeh papervision is just a basic 3d engine for flash :)
