Premier Pro DVD Burning problems URGENT HELP REQUIRED
show user profile  Davious
Hi,

I'm hoping you guys can help me with this one, I'm trying to get a DVD burnt from premier pro 2 in time for a birthday so theres a bit of a rush on.

I have set up the DVD markers and titles fine and the DVD previes fine.

When I hit Burn DVD I can't get it to burn to disk. So I thought , crap DVD blank, so changed it (lots)

However I can't even get the burn button to highlight when I select Folder or ISO.

I have managed to get it moving a little by changinf the default disk name, then hitting return (the burn option is still not highlighted)

it starts to burn then comes up with 'Transcoding Error'

I have checked this out on a few adobe/premier forums, but nothing decisive.

I have over 103 GB free on my HD, and am using the tryout version of premier pro 2.

Have you had experience of this problem? any help appriciated.. I'll keep trawling the forums

Thanks

I wasn't aware Premier could even do DVD burning...I thought that's what Encore was for (also part of CS).

Couldn't you just save an image of the project to your HDD, then use another app to do the actual burning?

As in File->Export..->Export to DVD->choose 'ISO Image'

Then just load up the ISO in Nero or something similar and burn in that?
