show user profile  undercom
Hi all. Can please someone help me with achieving a realistic metal texture on the ladder for this scene.
Tried all. I provide the scene in max format if someone could help me, please. Thank you. I really need to be done as quick as possible.

It's done in 3D Studio Max

I hope the photographer doesn't mind you using his image for your business.

The secret of metal is to reproduce the type of metal. This is aluminum. Find pictures of some and use that as inspiration. It has lines from extrusion. It has a diffused reflection. Reproduce this and the environment, and you will achieve your goals.

The background image is just for an example I used. It's not for sale. I have to show someone a metal scene example for my school project. Tried that already for 2 days in a row with no success. I have to present this tomorrow so I'm running out of time. Anyway thank's for advice.

If you remove the picture, people can't help you. Good luck. Perhaps try box mapping a photo of some aluminum sheets onto the ladder, then try to match the lighting in the original picture. Good luck.
