Hey guys

At work I saw the import 3D object in CS5, believe it was also in CS4. Was pretty much fun to draw directly onto 3D objects...

Anyone using this to make textures for low poly stuff?

Just wonderin', and no didn't do a lot of research. :')

From what I remember people saying when this 1st came out was that it sucked.

And since max 2011 has built in painting options (same almost like the old Cebas Ghostpainter plugin) you don't need it.

Was surprises me is that Right Hemispheres Deep Paint3d never took off like it should have...back in the old days.(4 or 5 years ago)...and there's alotta love for Bodypaint as well.

It's awful. I tried it several times, and found it pretty useless. Shame really.

Another thing you can do vice versa is exporting your vanishingpoint setup from photoshop to 3ds. This will create a plane setup and camera from your picture so you can cameramap the picture onto the geometry in max. Pretty cool if you want to make pictures come alive perspectivewise or a quick way to make a setup to integrate 3d into a liveshot.
