Perspective Veiw port slanted?
show user profile  martynball
I was trying to model quickly when I noticed the model seemed slanted/tilted... but then I look in the front view but it was fine, is the perspective view port camera slanted or something?

Yes, it's the view port. You can tell because the view port's grid is also tilted, but at the same angle as the model. If it bothers you, I'd just add a camera in the scene or rotate the view port to your liking.

Edit: Are you only working from the front and perspective view ports?

Edit: Fixed, I added a camera with Ctrl + C then selected it in the list of ojbects and deleted it.

Cheers for support.

Why not just try to fix the problem in the first place? By using the Arc-Rotate button you get a circle in the viewport. If you click inside of it you get the traditional rotations you are used to. If however you click outside of the circle, you just rotate the viewport's "camera" and you don't need to add a camera to look through.

Indeed, you tilted your view via improper use of the arc and rotate tool.

Oh, and for tips sake: Shit + Z is an Undo for changes made to the viewport.

just press f to go to front view then press p again to reset the perspective view based on the front view and away you go
