Perspective Dumb

I have the simplest issue I cannot seem to understand o.O

I am trying to match a large 2D image (with perspective). I have setup the image on a plane, have a camera facing the plane and have it pan across from frame to frame so that the next camera move meets the last, edge to edge. Only problem Im having is the perspective of the camera is making my horizen not line up between frames. I think this would work with an isometric view, but because of the perspective Im getting odd outcome. Can anyone help?

This is what i want

This is what I get

When panning with a non isometric camera, the image is deformed the further it is from the center.
Try turning the plane into a cylinder and have the camera rotate instead.

Maybe adding a camera correct mod would help too. Just to get things straight ;)
