| Path deform without translating mesh. |

Ive got a mesh exactly where i need it to be, and i would like to animate it with a path deform, but every time i pick the path, which I've created inside the mesh, the mesh moves or rotates. Doesn't matter if i use the WSM one or the regular one. Is there a way to bypass this?

Errrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Without checking, is there a "keep initial offset" checkbox? I think I may be getting confused. Sorry brah, don't have max up and I'm about to go zZzZzZzZz

Na, that's only available in the path constraint thing, which doesn't deform meshes..

If you dont want the mesh to move off its initial position you need to move the path tot he mesh. Vertex 1 on the spline path needs to be aligned to the mesh's pivot point.

Right, that much I've tried without success...Its close but the mesh still rotates even tho the pivots are aligned (including rotation) and i can't correct it with the xyz/flip controls in the modifier

That's not path deform tho, i need the mesh to deform after the spline (was mostly planning on using the stretch spinner in path deform) to squash the mesh along the spline. If its a whole procedure to get it working i wont have time for it either, I've got quite a few meshes. Cheers for the effort anyway.
