Path Deform ?????
Is there a way to bake the animation data from the path deform modifier? I have a dummy with pathdeform appplied to it (I dont want to use path follow), and I want to link an object to the dummy.
the problem is that "pathdeform" ignores the pivot point, which is what "objectlink" needs in order to establish the link.
Did that make sense?

How bout this - Is there a way to attach a dummy to a specific vertex of an object that has path deform applied to it?

I don't think you can attach anything to a vertex but you can attach to a face with attachment controller. Then if you move it close to a vertex it is pretty much the same thing anyway.

what haamu said should work, especially if you chamfer that vertex oh so slightly and creat a polygon at the near exact spot you need it.
