Particular frame rate for animation rendering?
show user profile  Alex910

How can I set 3ds max to render the animation at 8fps, instead of rendering all 24fps?
It will take a lot of time to render the 24fps so i thought that it would be good to render at 8fps or less and to use twixtor plugin, for the rest of the frames.

If I can set the render at 8fps this would save me a huge amount of time.
Settings? Plugins?

Thank you!

At the bottom right of the screen just to the left of all the camera controls there is an icon with a little clock in front of a rectangle/s. Click that and you should be able to change your animation to whatever frame rate you want.

Also, you can select "render every n'th frame". Set that to 3 (and keep your timeline at 24fps) to render out every third frame.

Here in Norway we use 25fps for all production.
