Particles with Mass FX?
show user profile  herfst1
I need to create an animation of filling an invisible box with randomly falling objects. All good, can do that with particles BUT the particles (which are shape instanced geometry) "rest" intersecting each other. With Mass FX I can get them to not intersect BUT, as far as I know, would need to set all the objects' randomness up beforehand.

Is it possible to get the best of both worlds?

I solved the problem by doing a mini pachinko to the animation to create the randomness.

But I'm still curious whether it's possible to stop the particles from intersecting with each other, just for future knowledge. Cheers.
