particle material problem

I've made a super spray using an instanced particle.
The particle's material is basically 2 diffuse colours, red and white.
The thing is, when I render any one of the 180 frames, just to test how they will come out, everything is great.
But when I render the whole sequence, the particles come out as all white.
There is no motion blur or glare to cause this
Any ideas, what's going on?

Sorry, sorted it (somehow), I had to scrub to the first frameof the particle flow and render from there. not sure why this all happened though

Yeah i've spotted pflow material bug too not long ago.
Sometimes i have tojerk material event up and down for pflow to update it.
Otherwise material doesn't change in the render.
