Particle array as source in particle flow

I'm trying to figure out how to use parray inside pflow as the particle source. The help file says there's a file included in the 3dsmax 6 disc that shows how its done with maxscript. I dug around inside my own installation disc of 3dsmax 2009 but couldn't find the sample file. I've also dug around the information superhighway but couldn't find it there either.

Basically I'm learning particles and I've made a nice teapot explosion with parray, I had in on a quick beach scene with a thin water layer above the floor plain. I realized a more advanced particle scene would ave the small touches like splashes of water when the teapot fragments hit the ground. I know this sort of thing can be done inside pflow, but I'm stuck at the step of how to put parray into pflow as the source.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure but I think if you turn it into a mesher object (compound objects), it will talk to pflow.
