Part of model renders backwards

don't laugh at my model, i'm new to 3d... c:

The bottom half of my character renders backwards. The image shows the viewport which gets rendered and below that a printscreen of the actual render which shows the feet and legs are backwards. any ideas? ):

Select the affected polygons and hit the "Flip"-button under Edit Polygons
