OK.....2 American Classics! Gonna buy one of these and restore it.
See what the global consensus is on the appeal of these 2 classics!

Personally... neither. Out of the choices, top one.
I mean just look at the rear end on that Harvester, fugly.
Although... is this for personal use, or are you planning to sell it on?

harvester by far, the other one is for pretty gay semi-mongoloid redneck soccer fans imho i voted for the gender change though, which i thought is more important :]

I always wanted a jeep when I was a kid so that's what I vote for. Either that or a Land Rover/Range Rover. Good luck making a decision, though :D

If you're going for a hobo look, I vote second !
If it doesnt work out, you can always burn it and enjoy the campfire.

I'ld go for the gender reasignment if i were you. it least it won't rust after your done....
JK. I'ld go for a camaro or mustang, but if you intend to spend your time on one of these, go for the jeep.

Alright guys.....gettin a little better.
It's a tough call . The Cherokee is more common, although still a classic. It is also a '79 so its a bit more "technical" than the Scout...and has ALOT more power with the 360.
The Scout though is quite rare....and alot "simpler" of a vehicle.....
OH...and if you didnt know....the entire top comes off the Scout.....

it's more rare, but how available are the parts. that's one thing i found when i was thinking about something like this. i found a couple of cars that were cool, but rare. parts were hard to find. the jeep will have a ton of places to get parts and a lot of options. gives you a big advantage when it comes to how much you want to spend on replacement parts.
