Odd one (not rending the animation)

An odd one here...
I'm using this script on a dummy to follow the vertex of a line which is part of a larger blobmesh obj.
dependsOn $Spline01;
Pos=GetKnotPoint $Spline01 1 2;

I then have some objects linked to the dummy, all works great in the viewport, however when I come to render, it only seems to render the linked objects at whatever position they were in on the first frame of the sequence... anyone come across this?

I lost you after dependsOn.

Are you rendering each frame separately? Or are you foolishly attempting to render out a .avi or .mov file?

tga sequence...
think it must be a bug related to the maxscript

just to confirm if I strip out the maxscript to track the movement it works fine, just means ill have to animate the dummy boxes by hand
