show user profile  elektrosport
Hi there,

I'm looking for at plugin that will help me transform any object into cubes.

Does anyone know of such a script or plugin for Max?

Cheers,
Karsten.

Luima made a voxelizer script for that.

http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/voxelizer

Personally I didnt get it to work as I wanted until I manually edited the script to get a better resolution voxelization

-What I used it for :: make minecraft building maps :P

Thank you for sharing, I'll try the voxelizer first I think - it seems quite hands-on (if it works).

I know I'm being demanding now, but what I was also hoping to find was progressive cube sizes, depending on the detail level of the parent object - it may be stretching it though..

Again, thanks a bunch..

Cheers,
Karsten
