Object based deflector
show user profile  Dania
I am working with p array , and i need to bind it to an irregular shaped deflector like rocks, i used the udeflector, but now my system has a stroke every time i even try to preview the animation in the view port. i have reduced my viewport render to 1% in order to just view the path on which the particles or my water is flowing.i have deleted the back faces of the rocks to reduce the file size, ive customeized the file backups and other options in the file tab of the preferences dialog box to keep the file size in check is this simply a ram problem ? Just how much ram do i need anyway to work with particle flow animations????

How dense is the deflector mesh you are using? this will obviously govern the calculation times, if its a very heavy mesh then maybe look into using a proxy mesh with a lot less detail

avoid to much particle spawning or better no spawning at all.
