Object Along Surface??
show user profile  Speedy
Are there any plugin or scripts that could generates "scattered" object on selected surface in straight line matter?

Compound Object -- Scatter Tool --> This can work, but too much hassle or yet it does causes problems i.e. crashes.

PFlow -> It works but cannot make straight line matter.

Align along edge --> Yes it can work but it will not alight proper as surface... I wish there are option "Align along surface"

The purpose of asking this , I am trying to create stitch on curved surface....

Why not create your stitches first on a flat plane, then bend the result? Or create a spline and propogate along the path?

you can convert your selected edges to a spline, then you can use the spacing tool to scatter your object along that spline. Or whatever other methods can be used with splines as well (path constraint, and so on)

Or you may be able to scatter based upon selected edges of an object, though I'm not 100% certain of that.
