Let's say you have a sphere and the radius is 10.0.
Then, you rescale it with the scale tool. The object's parameters will still say the sphere still has a
radius of 10.0 even though the sphere is larger. However if you right click on the scale tool it will
show how much you have increased the size of the sphere by percentage. So, if you reset these numbers back to 100% you can then use the parameter's radius to adjust the size of your sphere.

You push in the numbers.
If you want to increase a number. You make it bigger than it was before. You add more numbers to it.
X + 1 = X + 1

ahh, go to the modifiy panel and you will find the dimensions there.

Then maybe a better online translator ;)
