Hi All,

I'm ready to call this scene finished now. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I will be doing one final high res render over the weekend. So Any final comments and crits are welcomed.

Thanks

Really nice work mate. I can find little to fault with it, and the light is superb.

One thing... as a parent, I can tell you that you will be moving that cot to the darker side of the room, away from the window. Baby will get a chill if the window is open, and will be woken by light and noise.

Baby to Marge, baby to Marge, wah, wah, over.

EDIT: It needs a mobile.

:)

cheers Nik. yea I dont think we will have it there in real life. I just put the cot there for the render as i liked how the light hit the bars.

Haha, yep DD just pointed out I'd missed to cot too on twitter :-)

Really nice work. Great lighting and materials. Congrats on the baby.

On a side note..... As a fellow parent, one thing i would suggest... from experience.... if you intend to use the giraffe for measuring him/her as they grow, i would always suggest putting it on a piece of wood or something and attach that to the wall instead of directly to the wall. we did ours directly on the wall and when it came time to remodel our kitchen, we were SOL on it. we lost 6 years of measurements because we removed all of the drywall and no way to keep it. I tried to remove the drywal so i could keep itl, but it cracked and fell apart. I'm very nostalgic, so i like to keep stuff like that. Just a thought.

Really nice render, not my colour choice for a neutral baby colour though, seems a but dull to me. Comes across as '80s office' rather than 'nursery' I think.

Id go for lemon or a light green myself. or maybe even mauve.

But of course this is all upon personal taste.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've made a few minor tweaks, hope you like.

Grotey, I've gone for these colours as that's how they are in reallife atm. I have however lightened. I did play around with a lemon colour, but the balance of the image wasn't right, the top half of the image was too light.

No i mean the title of the image is now sitting room interior and no longer nursery.

Door handles seems quite high up too.
