Welcome to the forum.

Here is a human figure tut for n00bs, its very famous and should suit you.

http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/joanmenu.asp

Also please try to refrain from using abbreviations like 'plz', 'coz' and 'u' its hard to read and there isn't a character limit on the replies (well there is but its quite a few thousand)

thanks :)

Also take a look a the FAQ for questions you might come accross...

Yeah welcome :D

Now theres just one thing i dont get..
Everybody say that the joan of arc tut is for noobs, but then why do i get stuck all the time?
I must be ultra noob then..
Its just so sad to look at your own Joan of arc, compared to the one in the tut.

Well it's a kind of tut that you can fuck up.
It's not the same when then explain how to get a certain material by telling you what numbers to input in your materials noise parameters, and when they teach you about good topology, uv placement etc...

Welcome fello Maxer....this place is great for learning but you need to know that some critiques can be harsh and they aren't meant to be mean...just to the point.
Have fun!!!

A lot of teachers use the Joan tuorial in their classes- and not their beginning max classes!

I would suggest using the same techniques (images for templates, etc) as a start, but on simpler objects. From your post, I'm guessing you need to learn how to really *look* at what you are trying to reproduce- look at angles, scale relationships & other things one learns to look at when learning to draw (yes, the pencil sort of draw ;)

Anyway, don't feel intimidated by Joan- very few people ever make it as far as getting clothes on her- though that could be on purpose :)

MshAhzad- For the love of god. Don't give Bolts your real address....You don't want to turn out like the last guy...
