Happy New Year everyone.

I've recently updated my website and wondered if anyone has any comments or suggestions before I officially launch it!

www.ps3dviz.com

cheers.

Paul

Looks good and some great work on there! One thing that bugs a little is the white space at the bottom on the front page with the copyright info. Bit annoying to have the scroll bar at the side and then nothing down there. Just a minor gripe though, great stuff.

Besides the scrolling already mentioned it's all good. Nice layout and colour-scheme. Great art.

One thing that threw me off, though, was under services you have "sun studies." Is that really a service? VraySun pretty much does that for you, you just enter in the parameters. P.S. I'm not knocking, just asking only out of interest. Same goes for camera matching, which is pretty much automated when you use the camera match facilities.

H- i think you're slightly missing the point :p
It's a service he offers his client. A service most valued in this profession. Heck, the client cant do it or have any concept of it, so he looks for a cg man offering his services who can. Hense. :)
To us it's simplicity, to a client it's a service worth paying for.

Paul, why do your renders look infinitely better/crisper/realer on your site than when you post them up in MF? You given them a 'special' treatment or something? Perhaps the white theme shows them off better than mf's snotty green.

Awesome work.

There's a small amount of flickering going on in both those animations too mate. Just being an arse :)

Agree with bish's comment too - the vertical size of your site is just too large. Shouldn't have to scroll down just to see the footer. Same on my iPad too.

Good point, Strat. I was just curious as I've done zero arch vis freelancing, so didn't realise that services like sun studies were even gig worthy. It's actually kinda amusing to me, in a good way. Cash for jam.

Thanks for the comments guys.. really appreciate it.

Bish Bash - I completely agree. Trouble is, even if I remove the copyright text, I'm still left with a big gap underneath the main homepage image! Can't seem to remove it whatever i do, so it will just have to stay like that im afraid.

Herfst - I know what you mean - it's not all that difficult to produce, other than having to render out the animations frames. But as Strat says, it's a service which a lot of clients are willing to pay good money for!

STRAT - no idea why my images appear better on my website than on here, however I'm glad that they do! I'm also aware of the flickering on the animations - at some stage i will get round to re-rendering them - but just wanted to get it online for now. cheers all the same mate.

Thanks again everyone.
